(Trust) - Patanjali Yogpeeth : Vision and
Objectives
1. To
make a disease free world through a scientific approach to Yog and
Ayurved.

Health Organization and fulfill the resolution of making a new world order
- free from disease and medicine, through research work on the knowledge base
of our great saints and sages viz. Maharishi Patanjali, Charak and
Sushurut.

incurable diseases by extensive research in Pranayam/Yog.

To propagate Pranayam as
a “ free” medicine for the treatment of diseases
across the globe, through in-depth research within the parameters of modern

order to attain sound health.

tranquil place by using Yogic techniques to eradicate fatal effects of
medicines and weapons.

To study and research the subjects
associated with Yajna,
organic agriculture, cow-urine, nature and environment in addition to the study

7. To form a new integrated system of
treatment based on extensive research consisting mainly of the techniques of Yog and
Ayurved but
it is Allopathy for Surgery and Emergency cases &
others like Homeopathy, Unani and Acupressure to
soothe patients suffering from unbearable pains and rid them of disease.

To evaluate methods of treatment of
the physical body, etheric body, astral body, mental
body and causal body beyond the present incomplete system of treatment which
cures the physical body alone.

begin degree and diploma courses in disciplines of Yog

The miraculous medicine to heal
the frail and emaciated body Rishi
Chayawan was invented by the Ashwani Kumar brothers
during the Vedic era. This has since been known as
Chayavanprash.
Its constituents are Ridhi,
Vridhi, Jeevak, Risbhak, Kakoli, Ksirkakoli, Meda and
Mahameda, a
group of eight plants popularly known as Astavarga of “Chayavanprash”. These
Astavarga plant
species had been in oblivion because of improper details in old records and
vague or wrong descriptions given in various nighantu
books. Acharya Balkrishnaji Maharaj, Swami Muktanandji Maharaj and Dr. B.D.Sharma, with their endeavours,
have rediscovered these valuable species for use in
treatment of various ailments.

Divya
Pharmacy, an ambitious service project of Divya Yog Mandir (Trust), endowed with
knowledge and wisdom of our great saints and sages and most modern research
facilities has been commissioned by Honb’le Sh. Narayan Dutt
Tiwari, the Chief Minister of Uttaranchal
on December 13, 2005. To provide quality medicines at minimum prices to
patients suffering from incurable diseases and free of cost to poor patients is
our motto. This unit, well equipped with machines of advanced technology,
manufactures quality medicines on a large scale. Divya
Pharmacy, having ISO 9001 and WHO-GMP,GLP
International certificates, is one of its kind in Uttaranchal.
Divya Pharmacy is engaged in continuation of the
tradition of our saints who had suggested treatment for cure of diseases for
which allopathy has no answer.

At Gurukul Kishangarh, Ghasera, Mahendergarh, in addition to traditional education,modern subjects like
computer science, modern mathematics and physical sciences based on CBSE pattern,
are being integrated into the curriculum. It is now a famous centre of
education, being run on the Institution’s directives.

Successful treatment, based on
extensive research and experience, has been found for ailments like depression,
high BP, diabetes, arthritis, gout, sciatica, cervical spondylitis,
slipped disc, gas, constipation, hyperacidity, colitis, ulcer, obesity,
cholesterol, cardiac diseases, leucoderma, multiple
sclerosis, cirrhosis of liver, low sperm count, venereal diseases, asthma and
migraine. Similar success has been achieved in the treatment of diseases of the
eyes, kidneys and cancer. Work is in progress for finding treatment of muscular
dystrophy and thalassemia.

Free Ayurvedic
medical advice is provided daily to approximately one thousand
patients through letters, fax, e-mail etc. Twenty four counselors sort out
various problems of people from different parts of the country and abroad from
6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily over the phone.

Yog Sandesh, a research oriented monthly journal of Yog, spiritualism, Ayurved, Indian culture and
traditions, is being published in Hindi, English, Gujrati,
Marathi, Punjabi, Oriya, Assamese, Bengali & Nepali.

The institution also runs service
projects like herbal garden, Yajna
(vedic sacrificial
ritual), Vedic studies and Gaushala (cowpen).

One branch of the institution is in Gangotri, in the
Divya Yog Mandir (Trust) - Patanjali Yogpeeth in the service
of the common man
1. Free
entry upto 20-25%, for poor people in Yog science camps.
2.
No consultation fee will be
charged from patients for Ayurvedic
treatment in OPD of the institution. They will also not be charged
for Yog
training.
3.
Medicines will be provided at a
special discount to poor people so that they are not deprived of this
treatment. A poor
person falling victim to a disease, and not having access to
medical attention owing to his economic condition alone goes against the tenets
of humanity.
4. Apart from members and poor people,
others can also take part in the Yog Science camp by
paying a fixed donation to support the activities of the Institution.
5.
Examination and investigations as
and when required, will be carried out based on the
parameters of modern medical science, at cost price (free for poor patients)
for patients visiting the Institution.
6.
Research on medicinal plants is
being carried out. The information about medicinal properties of plants will be
made available to farmers on a non-profit basis. Farmers will be informed &
educated about cultivation of medicinal plants. Seminars, symposium etc. on
broad basis will also be organized.

plan is on the cards for lab testing & purchase of medicinal plants from
farmers.

& Ayurved, a Pauli House,
a Green House and a Glass House for research in medicinal plants have already
been completed.
2. The
second and third phase of the Institution, will take at least two to three
years for completion.

Facilities to members of different categories
Residential Yog Science Camps
Residential Yog Science
Camps will be arranged, after the construction of Patanjali
Yogpeeth for the devotees coming from different parts
of the country and abroad. Appropriate arrangements in addition to lodging and
boarding will also be available. Following facilities will be available for the
members of Patanjali Yogpeeth
during
such
camps :-
1. Founder Member : The Founder Member’s family
(husband, wife and two children), on priority basis,will
be able to take part in one residential Yog
Science Camp in a calendar year, free of cost. The FounderMember will be invited to various functions of Patanjali Yogpeeth. Two poor
persons nominated by a Founder Member will get free admission on priority basis
to a residential Yog Science Camp once a year.
2. Patron Member
: The
Patron Member along with spouse, on a priority basis will be able to take part
in one residential Yog Science Camp in a calendar
year, free of cost. The Patron Member will be invited to participate in all
functions of Patanjali Yogpeeth.
One poor person nominated by a Patron Member will get free admission on
priority basis to a residential Yog Science Camp once
a year.
3. Life Member : The Life Member, on priority
basis, will be able to take part in one residential Yog
Science Camp in a calendar year, free of cost. He can be accompanied by a
person who shall get admission by paying registration amount on the spot.
4. Dignified Member : The Dignified Member, on-priority basis, will be able
to take part in three residential Yog Science Camps,
free of cost in his/ her lifetime.
5. Respected Member : The Respected Member, on-priority basis, will be able
to take part in two residential Yog Science Camps,
free of cost in his/ her lifetime.
6. General Member
: The
General Member, on-priority basis, will be able to take part in one residential
Yog Science Camps free of cost in his/ her lifetime.
NOTE : All
honourable members of Patanjali
Yogpeeth may be able to take part in residential Yog Science
Camps free of cost after the construction of Patanjali Yogpeeth. Special
facilities for lodging and instruction in Yog
will also be available at such residential Yog
Science Camps organized before the completion of the Yogpeeth.
Guest House : Residential facilities to all honourable members of Patanjali Yogpeeth will be provided on priority basis, This will
depend upon the availability of residential facilities at that time .
Non
Residential Yog Science Camps : Four free passes of Very Special
Category for Founder Member or his Family, three free passes Very Special
Category for Patron Member and two free passes of Very Special Category to a
Life Member and his spouse will be given free of cost, for taking part in a non
residential Yog Science Camps.
Seating
arrangements for members of Patanjali Yogpeeth
In all Yog Science Camps
held before and after commissioning of Patanjali Yogpeeth, seating arrangements will be made right in front
of the stage for Founder, Patron and Life Members and thereafter for other
members respectively.
Yog Sandesh – Monthly Magazine
Yog Sandesh, a research oriented monthly journal of Yog, Spiritualism, Ayurved, Culture and Tradition, published by Patanjali Yogpeeth in Hindi,
English, Gujrati, Marathi, Punjabi, Bengali, Oriya,
Assamese and Nepali will be sent to all honourable
members free of cost in the language of their choice.
NOTE : Persons
residing abroad will have to pay postal charges for getting the magazine in
their country of residence.
Residential
facilities in Yog Science camps
1. Very
Special Guest Category - Air-conditioned rooms with modern facilities will be
provided to Founder Members during camp days.
2. Special
Guest Category - Air-conditioned rooms with modern facilities will be provided
to a Patron Members during camp days.
3. Medium
Category - Air-conditioned rooms with modern facilities will be provided to
Life Members during camp days.
4. Ordinary
Category - Air-cooled residential facilities will be provided to all other
Members of the Institution.
Medical
Facilities
Special arrangements for treatment will continue for
Founder, Patron and Life members after commissioning of the Institution.
Note :
1.
A Founder/ Patron/ Life member,
while leaving after a residential Yog Science Camp
shall have to contribute a minimum amount of Rs.
1000/- towards the running expenses and for the maintenance of the Institution.
Members willing to contribute more will be welcome to do so.
2.
All right of changing existing
rules and regulations pertaining to facilities for members of the Institution
will be reserved with the Institution. The same will be ratified in the meeting
of Founder Members of the Institution.
